About Paul
Paul is an experienced court solicitor specialising in all forms of litigation. He trained at one of the ‘big 4’ firms before working at a high street firm for 6 years, where he handled all litigation matters for clients of the firm. He routinely assists clients with disputes in relation to contracts, property, family, personal injury, debt recovery and general litigation. Paul routinely appears in sheriff courts throughout Scotland.
Paul has particular experience and expertise in handling claims for individuals and companies who have been mis-sold financial products such as fixed rate loans, hedging products or pensions. Paul has acted in over 100 cases involving mis-sold financial products, obtaining over £6.5 million in compensation for his clients. Paul acts for several clients who have been in the Global Restructuring Group (GRG) and other ‘business rescue’ arms of other banks.
Paul also has a particular interest in insolvency and routinely acts for insolvency practitioners and debtors in relation to personal and corporate insolvency matters. He handles all matters relating to sequestration, winding up of companies and all associated matters.
In his spare time Paul is a keen duffer on the golf course.
